Human Synergistics Canada and Larryland Adventures have combined their resources to develop and deliver this exciting, dynamic program for youth leaders in the St. Marys / Stratford area. The program is designed to help area kids develop and hone their leadership and teambuilding skills in a fun, learning environment.

The workshop is a “not for profit” initiative originated as way for these two national organizations to give back to their communities. The fee of $50.00 is intended to cover food and incidentals. All of the facilitators and staff volunteer their time and energy.

At this Camp, Human Synergistics Canada from St. Marys and Larryland Adventures Teambuilding from Peterborough join forces to provide this outstanding one-and-a-half day program in the St. Marys / Stratford area.

A world-class leadership training program designed for teen leaders in sports, student politics and youth groups. The program combines outdoor experiential activities with indoor, assessment-based training. The emphasis is on leadership development through fun, thought provoking activities and workshops.

During the Camp, Participants will:

• Complete the world-famous LSI® thinking styles assessment;
• Participate in a team building survival simulation;
• Engage in several Larryland outdoor experiential learning activities.

Participants will camp overnight in Cabins at Kamp Tanner in Harrington. The Camp begins after school on Friday and finishes up early Saturday afternoon.

Larry Pearson B.PHE, B.Ed

Larry has been an educator and coach in a wide variety of subjects and sports areas for over 30 years. He has been involved in a number of NHL training camps and Roger Neilson’s Hockey Camp, providing training and conditioning programs, as well as teambuilding and leadership development.

Larry has conducted programs for the Canadian Special Olympics Team, various University, College and High School teams and staff, Nike All-Canada Basketball Camps, International Hockey Camps, NHL Coaching Symposiums, and Youth at Risk Programs.

Allan Stewart B.Com, MBA

Allan has been a corporate leader himself and trained leaders for over 30 years. His clients have included IBM, Royal Bank of Canada, Canadian Department of National Defense, University of Western Ontario, Sears Canada, HMV, Yukon Government, The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission and Agriculture Canada. He has taught at the University and College levels, written several self-development guides, books and training programs. He has been a key-note speaker on television and a number of professional conferences.

Allan has been a youth athletics coach for over 20 years in a variety of sports, including wrestling, soccer and hockey.

The dates for the 2010 Camp are October 1 and 2, 2010. The start time is 4 pm on Friday to 3 pm on Saturday.
